Ways we can work together

Learn more →Counselling and coaching — two distinct lanes
Counselling
Focuses on healing, emotional regulation, and working with what has shaped you. Can include deeper processing of experiences and patterns, while staying grounded in safety and pacing.
Coaching
Focuses on growth, practical direction, and values-aligned action. Builds on your strengths and supports follow-through without using urgency or shame as fuel.
Common questions
Do I need to know what's "wrong" with me before booking?
No. You can come without a diagnosis or a clear story. Often the first conversation helps name what is happening — gently, without labels. What's the difference between counselling and coaching?
Counselling focuses on healing and emotional regulation. Coaching focuses on growth and direction. Both can be paced, and many people move between them over time. We'll talk through what fits today. Will I have to relive everything?
No. The work is paced to what your nervous system can hold. You build capacity first; revisiting hard material is always optional and never demanded.Do I need to be religious or spiritual for this to work?
No. Faith and spiritual perspectives are available when they resonate, and entirely optional otherwise. The work doesn't require either. How long does this take?
It depends — and that's an honest answer, not a dodge. Some people use a few sessions to stabilize; others stay for months as they integrate. We'll review fit together along the way.
What this work is and is not
Compassionate Rise provides counselling and coaching support focused on nervous-system safety, self-compassion, and practical change. This space is not emergency or crisis care, and it is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact emergency services or a local crisis line in your area.
Not sure where to start?
A calm 30-minute conversation is often enough to surface what would help first.
